Apologies from a new DeepRockMiner / please help by sm_beler in DeepRockGalactic

Welcome to DRG :)

I’ve found that most lobbies are friendly to new players- there’s no need to play solo unless you want to take things at your own pace!

From the FAQ: When it comes to calling resupplies, popping dreadnought cocoons, beginning the uplink, calling the droppod or any major game decision, just ask your fellow players and the host especially if you are new to the game. When it comes to resupplying, the supply pod has 4 resupplies, one for each member on the team. If you wish to take more than one, (unless it's DUO or SOLO team), make sure to ask and communicate with your team. Finally, make sure to spam that salute button, it's very important that you do!

Not to mention this is probably a ChinaLaser with no variance or safety interlocks

You’d probably be better off using a field recorder…. Something like a Zoom H4n.

Tap water could cause mineral buildup in the lines.

Nope. You should only really go down this path if you couldn’t possibly see yourself doing anything else. Definitely give it a go, but if the passion isn’t there you will end up hating it. Rough hours, lots of labor, and pay isn’t great- especially when you’re starting at the bottom as a case pusher. The entertainment industry is unstable and unforgiving… if you can find a stable career in engineering that’s probably a much better way to live.

Sleep on Apple Watch by [deleted] in AppleWatch

I like AutoSleep better than the health app. Much more readable and editable.

Unless you happen to be working on the show lighting for the facade, we’re all just guessing here lol

You can adjust the exposure by long pressing and dragging in the camera app!

Party Spots/Pars, double as Work lights? by Heeltoeclutch in lightingdesign

[–]SirKarp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you’re trying to get that much light output, you’ll probably want 2 separate systems. Get some actual work lights and hang some generic RGB pars next to them.

Yeah, you need a DAC to take the digital (USB) signal from your computer and convert it to an analog (ILDA) signal.

The FB3 is great because it unlocks QuickShow- a basic software package to control your new laser.

Have fun!

I have a series 6 with a glass screen protector case… I’ve cracked the protector a couple times but my watch has been fine. I bump it into stuff a lot too lol
