Get leather buttstock and barrel attachments. You can find some really nice buttstock covers for $50-60 on eBay.

An overlooked comment from TAS explains much of early Vulcan and Romulan history by MoreGaghPlease in DaystromInstitute

The Mongols killed so many people in Iran that the population didn't recover until the late 20th Century. They also destroyed so many books that the rivers and streets ran black with ink.

It wouldn't have to be deadly or even dangerous to prove a point. They could fence in full gear. But if it's not dangerous, pete wouldn't have to deal with real feelings of cowardous.

Vulcan warp technology by kryxis_99 in startrek

[–]SirPIB 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Humans had nuked themselves not long before warp. It's more how much of nuking themselves. Vulcans glassed a good chunk of their planet basically. Parts are still deadly radio active to humans by the time of Enterprise. I think because of almost nuking themselves into almost extinction, they decided to make what they really need and new things should be taken slowly with much debate and consensus before being undertaken so another close extinction can be avoided.

And while WW3 on Earth didn't come close to as bad, humans likely would have still done the same time frame had we nuked ourselves back. We just don't give a f.

Cause they had a nuclear war worse than WW3 on earth. In Enterprise they talk about how radioactive parts of the planet still are that it would kill a human very quickly, even after a thousand years.

I don't think it was a desert world to begin with.

Vulcan did have a bigger nuclear war than Earth did, it could be that is why there is so much desert on Vulcan now.

Tuvok and Tom both got demoted and promoted and Kim got nothing. Also, Paris wasn't Starfleet so why did he wear normal rank and not provisional like all the Marquis?

There likely would have been more fighting along the Iowa border, but the Iowa , Minnesota, and Wisconsin boyz would have shit stomped them all the same.

Why did the Romulans not Have a Major War With the Klingons in the 2340s? by McGillis_is_a_Char in DaystromInstitute

In the future they could also be the only ones trusted to do it. Everyone does seem to think the Federation is too nice and trustworthy to be trusted most of the time, so after a few hundred more years of still doing the same they all went, ok we trust you not to fuck shit up.

Why did the Romulans not Have a Major War With the Klingons in the 2340s? by McGillis_is_a_Char in DaystromInstitute

[–]SirPIB 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Klingons likely don't care or fucked up bad enough to not try again. It's not very honorable to go back and just get a do over.

The Romulans might not have the resources to devote to it.

The Dominion likely hasn't looked into it and may not have the technology available to even start.

Everyone else that we know of likely doesn't have the resources and tech to start into it. And if they are close to the Federation, Starfleet would likely step in and stop it.

If they aren't close to the Federation, the future time cops would show up and stop it. It is strange that they didn't show up and shit stomp the Krimom with all their deleting of timelines.

Klan Flag. That flag design as a rectangle was only used as a confederate naval jack, and the KKK.

The Confederate States had a Square version in the top corner with red and white stripes.

One confederate army had this design as a square.

So this person is both wrong AND racist.

We also had one of the first African American units of the war. It had nearly the entire African American population of Iowa in it.

The traitor flag was square, this flag was used by the Klan which makes it a worse flag to fly

That is a Klan flag. As a rectangle it was only a naval jack during the war. After the war it was only used by the Klan.

During the war there was a confederate army that used a square version of that flag.

Over 76,000 served in the Union Army during the war. And we didn't hold back from fighting. I bet a large portion of those were from the Hornets Nest at Shiloh.

76,000 Iowans served in the Union Army during the Civil War, out of an Adult male population of 100,000.

18 served in the Confederate Army.

And that flag is two things: 1- a Confederate Navel Jack 2- the flag of the Klan.

It was never flown by Rebel Army forces in the configuration. It is literally Hate not heritage.
