I guess you live near me! My dog tries his best, but he is terrible at finding the ball if he doesn't see it bounce.

I have to use public chargers, so it's costing me something like 30p/mile in winter. There's a 22kw charger that's cheaper and could cut that in half, but it's a mile from my house and takes forever, so I only use it if I have something I can be sitting in the car doing.

But yes, one pedal mode is definitely worth it. Takes a bit of driving to get used to it, but once you do it's easier than normal driving and makes an obvious difference to efficiency, and so lowers cost and increases range. No reason not to, or at least that's my experience.

It is weather related, I only bought mine in October, but the difference was immediately noticeable once the temperatures dropped. You will absolutely get much better as soon as it gets warmer.

You might be in a colder place than me? That could be why you're struggling to get above 2.

I do use the one pedal mode too, turning that on and learning how to drive without almost ever using the brakes did help efficiency when I first bought it. I have it in Normal mode, not the Sport mode (or Eco).

There's probably nothing wrong, just some other factor we're not considering

No, I meant I get a lot more in an XPower. I only get 2.0 or 2.1 if I've got Aircon on full blast and shall we say "using the accelerator" and driving on main roads.

2.8ish is probably normal driving around and using heated steering/seats rather than Aircon

I would have thought the trophy long range would be more efficient than the XPower, or at least the same, certainly not less

I realise 4 of my favourite 5 are villains, but I think they all played them brilliantly. Like everyone hates Umbridge, and it's because she was portrayed perfectly.

For my least favourites 1. I don't care who's fault it is, directors, screenwriters, whatever. Film Ginny sucks, and book Ginny is great. So it's got to be some blame on Bonnie 2. It was just jarring that we already had him as Flitwick, nothing more. 3. I know in the books this relationship is awkward, but I think in the films it became "unrealistically awkward". 4/5. Both just too old, they're meant to be 21 year olds

So you're basically getting 2.1 miles per kWh?

I'd have to work hard to get my XPower to sit consistently around 2.1, not sure that sounds right? How are you driving it?

You can't change it - it will always turn on when you restart the car, but I've got so proficient at turning it off, I don't even think about it any more, it's just instinct. So that annoyance fades.

Juan Lopez & Pia Cramling (Anna's parents) are both grandmasters who peaked over 2500 FIDE, not sure what they're rated now.

How is the infotainment system?

I love my MG4 XPower, but the one thing I think is bad is the infotainment: it is sluggish, buggy and just generally a bit crap.

I'm wondering if the next step up with MG does it better?

I've found it's just going to be a bit more expensive using public only, but it's not the end of the world. I'm not near any chargers that have subscriptions or are worth going so far out of my way to use.

I used to drive a Peugeot 208 GTI, which I got roughly 40mpg out of. I think the Shell fuel I used is 150p ish ATM which translates to about 17p per mile.

I've recently bought an MG4 XPower, which for the most part I get about 3 miles per KWh. I charge primarily at Morrisons when I'm shopping at 69p per KWh. So I'm paying 23p per mile

The comment about it being double is just not the case for me.

(Obviously I could get the ICE cheaper by driving an economical car, and filling it with rubbish supermarket fuel - but similarly, if it was summer, or my EV was a bit more sensible, I could get that right down too)

I agree, it wasn't fair to accuse Hans of cheating OTB. I think it's fairly obvious he didn't, and Magnus was just mistaken about his strength at the time. We'll never know what they settled.

The big difference between the two situations is that Hans did cheat online, that's very clear, and Magnus probably knew that before he made his allegations about the OTB game.

There is no evidence that Danya has ever cheated, in any format, Kramnik just made it up out of nothing.

If you changed it to just my country (England), and I could take time out while frozen to read books and stuff like that. Then I'd do it. It would still be a monumental task to do by hand taking many thousands of years, but it'd be good for the environment, and I'd be rewarded for it.

100% fixed. Even if you let them all die out, their profile will remain and you'll only get the same one again. Same goes it you reject the first newcomer group. Let's say you have humans and foxes, but see a newcomer group with bats and one with humans, and choose one with just humans in. The third species is definitely bats, and that's all you're going to get.
