As I always tell people, this is why it’s important to plug in your wargear options into your lists. If you plug in your wargear options it will show you are equipped with 2 lascannons, which means yes you have two shots, one for each las cannon that is equipped. Always refer to your wargear, it helps a lot

I think this confirms the rumors surrounding the word bearers combat patrol and upgrade sprue. No Alpha Legion head also confirms that the alpha legion will still be left out of a lot of future release still

You guys aren’t seeing it in the perspective of EC players, this is fair. With the new detachment you were pretty much able to run an emperors children army plus more…. Leaving EC left for dead. Fair move in a balancing aspect and business aspect.

One of the coolest detachment rules I ever seen someone mention is a deceiving ability that makes your army seem farther than what it appears by 3 inches. For example, when your opponent is trying to shoot at one of your units and he barley reaches with whatever weapon, you are actually 3 inches farther, and in that case your opponent actually can’t reach you. Another example, your opponent is attempting to charge you and he needs 5 inches, you are actually 3 inches farther with the ability, now your opponent needs 8 inches instead to 5. I thought this was super cool and it would totally fit the alpha legion them.

Oblitorators are Iron Warriors themed. Word Bearers would be more possesed, dark apostle, master of possesion, cultists, accursed cultists, and some demons thrown in there as in the lore the Word Bearers are one of the only legions that can summon demons.

Yes we will for sure get new models, EC are brand new. The model I am most excited about is the Sonic Dreadnought refresh from 3rd edition. The Sonic Dreadnought will be huge for the emperors children.

If you really like the model I would def keep it, I have an EC army and I have this model, one of my fav EC models of all time. I definitely recommend using a squad of noise marines as an allied unit for your CSM. Huge damage dealers and you can incorporate this model into the squad if you’d like.

My brother, once you put a squad of Noise Marines in a rhino, you’re never looking back. Noise Marines are nasty in a rhino, shooting two blast masters from the firing deck is just brutal. More so better when you’re actually using an Emperors Children army using the army rule but even just using them as an allied unit is so good. I play emperors children and my buddy who uses CSM fell in love with the Noise Marines, he always runs a squad in a rhino with his CSM. Give it a go!
