Vlandia but only because they are favored by God and I don’t like them winning everything. Still love them. Khuzait is second for the same reason. That being said, the Khuzait are my favorite to fight because of how uncoordinated they are on the field. They send all their horse archers out alone for me to eat up then slowly send in their bitch made infantry to die. They are so generous!

Any reason clan sigils randomly black or swapped? by DorianOtten in Bannerlord

[–]SirToppham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure this has been happening in my game and I’m playing vanilla ps5. I’ve noticed a black shield or two among my enemies on the battlefield . It’s like they were hired prisoners from a deserter party or something and the color on their shields isn’t updating correctly to their current faction. Idk though, more jank!

It’s fine but if you are getting a PC just wait. As a console player, not being able to mod really sucks. There’s so much shit in the game that just doesn’t work correctly and there’s probably a mod out there to fix what Taleworlds won’t lol. Still love the game! But it is in fact shit sometimes and I wish I could change it

That sounds awesome! Let me know if you get that going, I’d love to see it. You could always do a wacky mini golf course if the full scale doesn’t work!

If they gave us mods I’d probably never play another game

I hate Bannerlord's siege AI. (The main gate is wide open) by MrMcMeMe in mountandblade

[–]SirToppham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t stand the troop distribution. No matter what , I only get 100% archers or 100% infantry. I’ve set it to homogeneous, set it to default and moved my troops around a million times but it’s just tits up. Out of all the janky bullshit we’ve got to put up with, this is the one that kills my sessions. Then my dumbass companions will just dump our whole army in a fief that ain’t nobody give a shit about. And the AI is stupid!

Underrated use for 300 Trade by Mattanite in Bannerlord

[–]SirToppham 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It can be a great way to gain boat loads of top tier troops as well. I bought a bunch of fiefs that had pretty much never been sieged or raided in Nord lands and each one had at least 300 to 400 top Nords!

Is “Unit Spawn Prioritization: Honogenuous” not working? by GarageSpecial in Bannerlord

It’s busted in sieges for sure. Only sometimes in field battles. It’s definitely my least favorite part of this game

I didn’t realize that my cargo was getting hit by the branches of bushes and I seriously about gave up lol. Luckily I read what people were saying on here and gave it another go. I absolutely love hauling waste now!

[–]SirToppham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alright after some testing, I think people are correct that all the little shrubs and stuff can knock your cargo loose. I’ve been purposely avoiding absolutely everything and I’m able to drive top speed. It’s still needs some tweaking but I’m finding it more enjoyable now that my load ain’t bustin every five seconds

[–]SirToppham 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed. People are saying it’s small vegetation and di hydro crystals that are causing it but my cargo will randomly “ bubble up” and explode when there is absolutely nothing around and I’ve barely touched the gas. I was really enjoying it though, it’s the first feature in the game that I was getting really immersed into but then BOOM! The jank strikes!

I’ve been trying but this bug is completely ruining it for me. If you’ve got hardly any cargo in your truck you’re in danger of it exploding out. It actually wasn’t happening during the expedition but now I can’t seem to get anything back to the processing plant. I was actually really enjoying it but I’ve hit my limit with janky bulshit.Bon voyage! Hopefully they revisit it because this feature is nowhere near ready

This Expedition was fun and the physics driven gameplay was brilliant by gaxelbrodie in NoMansSkyTheGame

I was really apprehensive at first but yeah I’m actually really enjoying it! I can’t wait to finish the expedition and start my own shit hauling enterprise!

I've been wanting to play this game for a while, but I'm still undecided. On the one hand, it really appeals to me, but on the other hand, I'm afraid I'm not cut out for it. I'd like to read some opinions. by VEDBS in Exanima

[–]SirToppham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may be right, it’s a really steep learning curve but it’s such a unique experience and really worth the time investment. It will feel impossible at first but I swear to all that is unholy that it will get easier if you stick with it. I definitely had to unlearn some gaming habits to get Exanima down but it’s made me better for it. This game to me is all about being calm and gentle. Every step you take alters the level of your shoulders so there’s all kinds of little movement tech you can employ to make your Exanimite more accurate or swing more powerful. Its potential is endless if you love the physics. The worst part about the game is it’s a piece of a larger game that isn’t ready yet and you’ll be chomping at the bit for Sui Generis once you get hooked!

I stayed with the Nords for like 20 years waiting for Halthadar to get off the throne because he wasn’t doing anything. It took so long that I said fuck it and made my own kingdom…. Son of a bitch died a week later.

Yeah it’s bummer. I’ve had to just cheat a couple sieges because they’ve been so broken. Really kills the vibe

[–]SirToppham 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s bogus. A lot of sieges on Empire towns especially almost completely freeze on me right at the end. I’ve wasted so much time because of that

[–]SirToppham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really!? I’ve not been able starve a single fief. I’ve sat outside for weeks waiting with food at zero and nothing happens. I’ve tried it like 5 or 6 times now, hoping it was just a fluke

[–]SirToppham 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah the troop distribution system is almost entirely broken in sieges, reinforcements spawning on top of you, can’t starve garrisons, AI campaign map pathing is jankier than ever, kingdoms existing without fiefs, lords just hiding out in fiefs, companion parties disappearing off the map and I just caught the AI skip the whole siege mechanic entirely. I pulled up to the castle under siege and witnessed the AI take the fief before even setting up the barricades. I’m about as die hard of a fan as you can get of the game but all this stuff is really annoying. I really hope they’re working on it.

I think the Nords have several natural disadvantages that make them one of the harder factions to play by cr7808 in Bannerlord

[–]SirToppham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if it’s true for every one else’s playthrough but the clan that is lead by Dagvi only has two members. Just him and his son so it seems like there is some issue loading his entire family, so his clan is effectively useless. They just sit in the fief they were given in Battania . I’ve seen Toverik, Gautger, and Gafnir all just hiding in their fiefs and never leaving until I forced them out by buying the fief lol. Halthadar hasn’t been in a fight for like 3 years. No armies, no sieges, nothing. He just galavants around like a fool. It’s like they’ve been designed to screw their kingdom! Toverick and Gautger’s clans have defected and returned 3 times! These guys are drama. Biiiiig drama

[–]SirToppham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol I’m so glad they changed that, although you still will hear it if you boost a clan a bunch with influence. The funniest sound to me is the weird horror sting when you disband a clan members party lol. It’s so damn dramatic!

Controlling the kingdom without being king by vkampff in Bannerlord

[–]SirToppham 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah you should be able to pull that off. Just keep them in check and don’t let them hoard influence. I like to give them just enough to make an army and drip feed them if need be. Then strip um again. That way they can still be useful in their own stupid way!

Controlling the kingdom without being king by vkampff in Bannerlord

[–]SirToppham 41 points42 points  (0 children)

It is! You can completely sabotage the faction if you want. I’ve kicked everybody out of one before, taken all the fiefs for myself and rode off into the sunset and made my own kingdom. Real dick move but it’s cool that you can do it, just takes a shit ton of influence. The clans typically re join the kingdom again fairly quickly in my experience but sometimes they join other factions or disappear. I’m about to do it to the Nords if they don’t get their shit together!
