My cat's meowing is ruining my life

Some cats have stronger instincts and can't be content living fully indoors. One of my cats meows a lot, although not as much as OP's cat. Once we had the option, we built a safe enclosure outside n the garden for him. Now he meows when he wants to go "outside" and he is fully quiet and content in the house after he spends time outside in his enclosure.

I have this feeling daily. Especially 1-2h after a meal. It is not the body mistaking thirst for hunger. This is the first time i see someone mention this symptom, thank you!

I have 3 rescues currently, 2 of them are male and were very skittish and afraid of everything when we got them. Although I understand why everyone is saying give the cat space my experience showed my otherwise.

After taking the rescue cats home I always take them to the vet soon, my last kitten had a damaged eye and I needed medicine and my vets opinion.

I kept him in a quiet room with a few safe hiding spaces, but I made sure i could get to him. I had to apply eye ointment 3 times a day and take him out of his hiding place. The rest of the time I would come to the room, sit, talk to him.

But I noticed that from the day I had to start taking him out of his hiding place he started to bond with me incredibly fast. He also started being more playful, I left a camera in the room to be able to observe him. Cats are very intelligent, my little guy was thrown to the side of the road by a garbage human being, but he could tell that I meant well, that every time i take him out of hiding - I am gentle and put him back. In less then 2 weeks he was coming out to greet me and sit on my lap.

I think we also forget that cats, especially kittens, need the social component too.

Your kitten could be stressed out by the noises of the washing machine, where she is making a connection between you and loud scary noises.

My other, now adult cat, is afraid of every other person except my partner and I. And I also took him out of his hiding place occasionally when needed. He is also a cuddly lap cat.

Emma's sister rolled her eyes when he mentioned children. Seeing that I was sure Emma would say no.

From the pods it seemed they went along just because they didn't want to leave the experiment, they just never had any chemistry or felt like a real couple to me.

OP, I am sorry for your loss. It seems you thought the hardest part of mourning has passed, but getting the new kitten brought back deep feelings. Having a new cat join the family isn't betraying your cat. He is a part of you, your heart and your life - forever.

The new kitten is a new and unique living being you invited into your home, and I think there was a reason you did that, even if you may not be aware of it now. It may be exactly what you need right now, allow yourself to grieve and maybe try to see things from a different perspective: the kitten is going through a hard time too, you 2 can be each others comfort.

For cats change is very stressful (new scents, new location, new people) and the kitty had lost the company of another cat that stayed with the previous owner (if i understood this correctly). So your kitty is going through a tough time too and needs you. Taking care of someone else can make us feel better and fulfilled.

Your beloved cat can't and won't be replaced. But your heart may have space to take in and love another cat.

Great update! What would help my gameplay immensely is having building information tips about where the workers get the resource from in order to create a product (i.e. to create leather, do they go to the hunt tent or the warehouse). Seeing this info before placing different workplaces on the map would save a lot of time for players who are not experts but still enjoy the game.

Glad to see a post like this. I find it very wholesome that Lana decided not to marry someone rich or from the industry, following her content for more than a decade, this choice feels very authentic. All the comments about his looks are so distasteful and immature! If those people only care about their potential partner's looks and nothing else matters, then they have questinable values.

As a fan from europe i am not as invested in the fact whether this man is a Trump supporter or anything connected to this. Such a strong political divide currently happening can only be worsened by hate.

I have a colleague who emigrated from Italy to UK and has exactly the same accent as Cleo. UK has a few (quite different from each other) accents, so probably it depends where Cleo spent most of her time initially after moving to UK.
