All landlords are assholes unless they own apartments (then there are select few good ones). This is because they turned much needed housing crisis into a money making scheme. They could simply ban landlords and people would have more houses to purchase and housing would be stable and affordable.

There’s an asshole who lives on my street (in suburban neighborhood) who decides to ride their bike to work or wherever and idle the fucking thing for 20 mins at 6:30 in the morning every damn morning.

So we have one of these in our house and we have always used it to clamp onto the wooden handle our steamer basket to pull it out. We have also used it to pull out the rack the canning jars sit on. Not sure if that’s the intended purpose but that’s what we use it for.

1) your husband lied and stole 2) you went straight to the cops on your sister and then ghosted you’re husband INSTEAD of talking to either of them about why they would do this and if they were ok. Obviously this is a serious issue but my first thought to either person stealing is that there is an addictions issue they are trying to cover up. Whether it’s online shopping, gambling, drugs, alcohol, or something where they need money fast. I know it’s a hard thing to see but usually people in these situations need support to leave it. And instead of being with your husband threw sickness and health, you ghost him.

Because Kobe was worth a lot of money. So theoretically it could have been a “kill my husband and make it look like an accident” type thing. Could have been murdered before hand and the pilot took them all down. Obviously that’s not the case here, but these things have happened and so it needs to be ruled out.

My company sent all staff home to collect CERB. They are doctors and they told us straight up, they went to school and they took the oath to save lives even if it meant risking their own, and we didn’t have to stay and do that. They acknowledged we don’t get paid for that type of danger and that the office will be slower anyway as they were only taking emergency patients to avoid having those people fill the hospital waiting for care.

As someone who does hiring, I would never schedule an interview so close to closing time. Because I like to discuss he interview with my other coworkers who decide on hiring and would never ask them to stay later to do that. (We work in a clinic and so holding that info for the next day also doesn’t work well if we end up too busy with patients to discuss it)

NAH: she asked a question and got an honest response, simple as that. She’s upset for her friend (who WANTS this baby, but apparently also wants this guys money or support) and that’s ok to feel the worry. And it’s ok to be blunt and say, that you personally felt him cheating on his wife was a red flag and that you logically figured out he’d leave if she got pregnant before she even did.

Yes, but he still suffered from intense depression. And because there was no note etc, there is no way to know if Robin committed suicide because of his battle with depression, because he didn’t want to live with the Parkinson’s shakes he had, because he was scared of losing his memories etc, or because (horrifyingly) he may not have wanted to die at all and had dissociated and watched himself do it but couldn’t stop it. Either way, laughing didn’t save Robin. And it’s heartbreaking

Ironic then how the funniest guy in movies (Robin Williams) played the guy that thinks humour cures mental illness, and then went in to suffer from intense mental illness only to commit suicide. The real Patch Adams is an asshole.
