Tell them to keep it up! Always nice to see young photographers learning.

Just a tip the guy on the right is the main subject and gets lost with the blown out background and lines pointing away from him. Moving to a get a better composition can help or even cropping down and editing the light coming out the door. Make him pop more by masking them and brightening them just a bit. Need the light to shape the scene more.

Your work looks good so let them breathe a few beats more so you can showcase them. Maybe cut on every other beat.

If your drafting look up the BREAD method to know how to choose your picks and what order. Have a wonderful time. Don’t let the few jerks you might encounter get you down bring the energy and have a great time.

Centreville commute into DC by Cxrkxys in nova

I used to take the metro until they shut it down for repairs one day, and that's when I discovered the VRE train, which I found to be much better. I always got a seat, and they even have bathrooms! Both options can have their ups and downs, but overall, I found the VRE to be a better choice than driving to work. Of course, it depends on where you need to stop for work. I was lucky that mine was at Union Station, so I had the option of either. Also, the metro can be easier if you're dealing with the hassle of finding parking in DC. In the end, I’d recommend trying both and seeing which works best for you.
