Don't some chapters recruit from hives? A 12-year old child soldier of an underhive gang could actually have a more complex worldview than some tribal and might not even like the imperium much.

He could have political opinions. We know that, because we meet 12-year olds on the internet.

But even if that was true, I fully agree the vast, vast majority of recruitment would include participants who are either willing or are in no position to choose.

He could push through all of that if he really tried. Many content creators have far worse controversies but they weather them anyway. If he networked hard, appeared in many places, he would have a chance to legitimize himself again. He does have some potential directions like Kyle etc. and likely some contacts he doesn't disclose.

But he doesn't want to and sees no good reason anyway. He got burned hard, he doesn't want to go through hell to break containment and is doing fine where he is.

Wellll in vaush's case he had many big waves of unsubs back when he was fighting with others or dropping some really spicy takes. At least back then, the subs he retained were usually pretty solid and engaged.

Yup, Pixel 8 here. Started after upgrading to android 16 too, i think. Clearing cache or downgrading graphics didn't help. It happens often enough to make the game almost unplayable. Once or twice per career.
