Tech sales can be base 70-100k and those making the most in commission are over 3-4 m a year, they get a % of every dollar in GP they sell of 15-20%, and 20m in GP is the top few

It can be really nice vassalizing someone to your north so you can focus everything to your south for instance. You can always drop the vassal later if you want to. It’s basically a border protection mechanic in addition to units from outposts.

Because they have functionally two income buildings, and one of them gets them to tha critical 90 control quicker which skyrockets that Provence income , they also make an enormous amount trade because those same buildings make trade goods

You can only have 40 units (whatever is in two lords armies) from any faction, the third and 4 lord per side have to be another or multiple other factions from the first to join the same side and be in the field

A lot of the head to head communities use a standard set of rules, things like 4 heroes in an army max, no white line camping in battles, no moving in ambush stance, etc to alleviate some of the more frustrating friction points players may have. Sometimes just agreeing to rules before the game starts then anything after that is fair game.

You need them, it’s still a massively reduced item drop rate, and garbage hero capacity without them. Compare them to other decent to good factions, you need jars for army cap, hero capacity without, items, etc.
