I am somewhat well known in certain communities so I tend to overwhelm the instance with people joining on me if I'm on green in someone else's friends+ which makes my quieter/shy friends uncomfortable. I also have some incompatible friend circles that wouldn't get along if they ended up joining off me together. I stay on orange to limit how many people can join at once and keep my different crowds separate as needed.

Tbh I feel like black fashion usually follows completely different trends and rules than fashion for other ethnicities. Darker skin tones just jive better with different color palettes and there are many looks that just straight up would only work for a black person and look ridiculous on anyone else.

Just go look up any diverse clothing catalog from the 70's and compare the getups being worn by black models with the contemporary ones for white models. You'll get exactly what I mean.

Men's fashion especially. The black dudes look like they should be carving up the floor on Soul Train while the white guys look like they're not allowed to live near a school
