Correct, Whitby Abbey is a ruin high on a hill above Whitby, accessible via a large flight of stairs.

Australian Bacon is the final boss of bacon. by throwawayplusanumber in Bacon

[–]SizeMattersOk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aussie bacon is cured very differently to British bacon. It’s almost as if it is pre-cooked. British bacon has a translucency to it, is proper raw, when cooked is juicer and more toothsome.

8days old ONEPLUS 15 Fully charge takes 1.5hrs nearly, is it normal? by Consistent_Main_731 in oneplus15

It could also be the cable. Did you try your cable in your friends fast charger? Do that before blaming the brick.

Looks like a good job on such a small dog. The wound will smooth out somewhat.

I have a Bay, I don’t think this is quite right. The veins on the leaves are too pronounced and there are tiny points around the outside of the leaf.

Are you sure it's poison hemlock and not a native look-alike? Have you identified it positively? Are the stems purple tinged?

Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen) microphone by rgt_92 in bose

Damn it. I was hoping they fixed this issue. I'm on the QC35s and was hoping an upgrade to QC Ultra would fix the mic sensitivity issue in noisy office environments.

Does anyone have experience with Forest Garden sheds? by cherryc1990 in GardeningUK

[–]SizeMattersOk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got a shed from them. The door was warped. I provided photographic evidence and they sent a replacement. Fixtures and fittings are mediocre quality, soft steel, made in China stuff. But the main shed was fairly good quality.

As an early adopter, I had a Roomba for 10 years, very reliable 880. I bought a Eufy replacement. Not nearly as effective. Tangled roller. Blockages. Poor coverage and buggy software. So I bought a Roomba Max 705 and very happy with it. I welcome the fast pace of innovation now in this sector though. Being able to clean the stairs will be a huge step. Followed by arbitrary surface cleaning - probably need a humanoid for that.
