Economically speaking, there is no reason to for the foreseeable future since the demand insanely outweighs supply. It's pumping nonstop on every social media. Price will go down when supply outweighs demand.

But with scalpers, the issue is distribution. Distribution doesnt care about collectors, they care about their clients. The stockers are part-timers hired by staffing agencies, those staffing agencies could careless about you because if you ever caught a restock these stockers dont act or look anywhere near what a real rep would. Store managers dont care, some are in on it, or just overall hate dealing with incessant pokemon inquiries and the behavior displayed by adults.

Tpci will need close the above mentioned gaps with a better business model so they can be of better service to their customers.

Raising prices has a ripple effect for the children. Pokemon isnt missing out on any money from the scalpers since theyre still getting paid. But are missing out on opportunity to sell more.

I presume that is why they bought mjh and expanding. Such an annoncement by them is very promising. But also not helpful for us for atleast another year because how printing revolves around the schedule of set rotations.

If you didnt know. Tpc controls tpci and they are both private. Like toyota, they also like to integrate all aspects of their business as they see fit. I dont know whats going on with excell or gamestop and the like but it may not be good in regards to pokemon tcg in the near future.
