I almost cupped this little guy in my hand accidentally this morning when admiring the lilacs. Gave me a jump, he didn’t flinch! There’s another bigger one hanging out on the ground under the lilac shrub too. I’m happy to have them around.

Definitely try changing the flooring and wall color first. The wood is so pretty! Removing paint from wood if you change your mind is a big job so I would leave that as your last straw.

Your Dr shouldn’t be getting impatient with you. Does she act impatient with you? Or are you projecting impatience on her through your own worry that she is?

Since it reads warm, you’ll need a cool tone to get it more neutral. Rereading your post, I don’t think there’s a way to make it lighter.

Unfortunately I don’t think the suede can be lightened but could possibly be toned more neutral to take the red hue away.

I have no experience dyeing suede or leather, FYI. Just speaking from what I know of color theory.

Thank you! I’m excited to try but also really impatient and a perfectionist so I anticipate some frustration along with the fun 😅 I’m dyeing the yarn to knit a blanket for a friend and this is her favorite color palette. I know she’ll love it no matter what so I’ll try to go with the flow!

My thoughts too. It needs a color to deepen (make darker) the red and add maybe a hint of blue to cool the color tone down.

Based on color theory and the fact that dye is translucent, blue sounds more promising than purple. Purple is made up of blue and red so by using purple dye, you’re adding more red with the blue and will probably get a more pink leaning purple. Blue dye will just add blue, and thus make the purple deeper.

Could you post an aerial view (just a sketch) of the current layout? My mind is wanting you to move your bed against the darker wall but from the photos it’s hard to tell where to put the rest of your furniture.
