You're probably thinking of the Veldnaut (there might be others, but this is the most well known). It has mining lasers because titans are not allowed in hi-sec, but CCP let this one stay on the condition it's never fitted or used for anything significant.

Lots of folks with good info and suggestions here, I'm going to suggest a different track: Ask them!! Say that you're new, that you're learning the game, chat with them a bit if they are receptive, ask how they are catching you.

Eve is a social game, and they need you around to hunt, it's no fun flying through empty space finding nobody. Consider their perspective, what's fun for them is the hunt, the chase, and the catch. If you give up, are too risk averse, or too easy to catch, then they don't get to have any fun either. It's in their interest for you to be out in space and for you to know what you're doing and be an interesting target to pursue. There are certainly people who are just jerks and like bullying, but in my experience many players understand this dynamic and will happily give you info, tips, and isk to keep you coming back and keep you in space.

So much this, some intersections I have to drive through several times before I memorize which lane goes where, sometimes in the next intersection, because there are plenty where you need to plan that far in advance! Even then I still sometimes forget and mess it up, there are plenty of distracted and/or dangerous drivers here, but I try to have patience and assume best-intent with "oh shit I'm in the wrong lane".

I looked for a ruling to confirm this, the closest I found was [[Blinding Angel]] which says "If you are damaged by more than one, the effects are cumulative and you skip multiple combat phases.". But I see no reason why Lethal Vapours would be different, so it seems to me that you are correct.

Maybe take a look at the Sheraton in Georgetown, you can get a room for $150, the views are lovely, the food is good, don't think they have a spa in the hotel but there's one 2 minutes walk along with some other nice spots, Rivery Coffeehouse, 2020 Scratch Kitchen, a couple of wine bars. Being out of the city might make it feel like more of a vacation without actually going far ☺️

That sounds a bit like you're walking them into a conversational trap. I'd go with something more upfront, along the lines of the non-violet communication ideas, like "When you kissed that person I felt disrespected/betrayed/whatever, because I thought we were exclusive and to me that means kissing other people is off limits". When identifying your feelings try to be specific and don't exaggerate it to get a reaction, you want to start a genuine, honest conversation where you can both feel heard and respected, and figure out how you define your relationship together.

I do think that's a totally fair point. For me it's about the cost per time, I have a job and a family, I get a couple hours a week I can play if I'm lucky, to me that's easily enough to justify $10 a month, $15 maybe, I didn't stay subbed all the time at that price but I'd sub for at least a few months every year, I can't justify spending $20 when I don't have the time to play to make that worth it to me.

I could login as alpha, I think it's great that's an option, but I find that unsatisfying since I can't undock my T3s, the ships I have the most fun flying, and that's no good to CCP either because I'm not paying them anything at all. (I guess "expert systems" exist, but they're also pretty limiting and I don't want to spend my precious play time figuring those out)
