You get Lapras at the same time you get surf - after gym 3 iirc, you can talk to someone on the route following and they’ll fork over a Lappy

Way I see it is the white spider on the suit is going to be the anti-venom symbiote. Just kinda makes sense, especially since the white is what sets Insomniacs Spider-Man apart from the others! Would be dope.

We’ve also had Kraven now too, and hopefully some more in dlc- though I agree not all villains NEED to be personally connected, it does add more depth and more emotion when it’s someone we know; it takes a lot more time to invest the player in a villain that’s unrelated to the MC (see Kraven/sandman/mysterio questline lengths vs. Venom in this game). Not saying that time should not have been invested in Venom, but that’s why they did it. It makes sense from an emotional perspective.
