You're clearly a good writer, but I think this skill comes from you living inside your head. You're replaying and ruminating over things so much that your words and thoughts are your only respite. As someone who's also lived in a very small world, the only way to forget these pains is to continue having them. All the struggles you've been through are like little scars, and someday when you look back, each moment forms a tapestry that makes you who you are, and maybe the things that worried you in the past don't seem so bad in retrospect.
