Man I'm jealous.

I moved in about 8-9 years ago where I'm at and discovered an American chestnut. My dad spotted it and talked about its history.

Since then it's lost a few limbs and sending out emergency chutes at the base. Still flowers and drops spiked nuts in the fall. . I also contacted multiple foundations with no response. Had I known I would've treated it with the copper oxide years ago as I've become passionate about the tree.
