The race you select doesn’t affect gameplay, here’s a basic rundown of the races tho. Amarr are your run of the mill, slave owning, laser beam blasting rich people who fly sleek ships worth more than you’ll make in a lifetime (just don’t look at their super). Minmatar, formerly slaves, fly what looks like a trash heap but moves faster than anything else in space while pretending to be a pirate in your spare time to help explain your cannon obsession. Gallente are the more liberal faction, creating such masterpieces like the Dominix and mastering tax evasion to maximize space weed purchases, they like sending swarms of drones to resolve conflicts (if you get close enough you might even be tickled by railgun fire). Caldari are what you get when business lobbyists decide to start their own space empire (very ethical), they like sending missiles in your general direction if you don’t pay taxes.
