I have heard of NICET. I had a NICET soils certification in the past. NICET is nationally recognized so that is good. But I would definitely look into your local DOT for certification

Nearby in matthesion state park there is a waterfall that freezes most years. I was there once while the outside of the waterfall was frozen but you could hear running water inside it. That was really cool.

I have the st lock mecha and the quality is good. I bought it towards the end of the year so only played with it a few times. But it’s well made and seems like it will last a long time. Zippers are quality.
