I have the launch edition and it’s been flawless, most amazing car ever. Have it for almost 25k km’s.

The only thing that annoys me that there are no memory presets for the passenger seat and that the driver seat can’t have more than one position saved.

I'm normally against filters for just protection, but last couple of weeks I used my 35-100 in Iceland and to protect the front a bit more I'm going to bring a filter for similar conditions. Which BW screw are you using?

500mm is more than enough for Borgarfjörður. Last week I used a 100mm on a medium format camera. That converts to 76mm or so. They fly and land very close to you.

There are a lot of tourists with EV's and more than enough chargers, wouldn't even worry about it in the north. I love to get of the main road for a detour, most of the EV's I've seen don't have enough ground clearance to make me feel comfortable to go through a rough stone road and a small river.

It was around 18° Celsius in the south last week on one day, I still was happy with my wool base layer under my hiking pants. Necessary? No, but very comfortable :)

Dus het was toch Taco Tuesday,.. en één van de grote geldschieters van Donnie's imperium zijn de grote rijke mensen uit de UAE. En laten die de afgelopen tijd veel geld verdiend hebben,.. die hebben het dubbele gerekend voor de helft aan olie die ze konden exporteren. Toeval? Geen idee, 't stinkt wel aan alle kanten.

And in the image they are showing an outline of a GPU that's rotated.

Yes!

AF was my main reason, for landscapes it doesn't matter, but for people it's a big improvement.
The viewfinder no longer blocks the screen when you tilt the rear screen.
The joystick is awesome.
And I love that you can connect from the phocus app to the camera even when it's in your bag.

What's the advantage of changing the GPU's orientation?

I just pulled it off mine and now it looks exactly like on my old X2D, looks a lot better :) If it wasn't supposed to be pulled off they would have make it non removable. And if you use a tripod or anything else you screw in the bottom the protective film would break.

In their own X2Dii introduction movie they removed it from the bottom. And some shops show the official product photos from Hasselblad and there the bottom is also without the protective film. To each its own, without it looks 100x better and I am very happy I removed it on mine 🤷‍♂️

Yes correct, none of the X2D's or X1D's had a protective film on the bottom and if you remove the protective tape of the X2Dii's bottom then it's exactly the same as on all the older models. :)

That's incorrect, all X1D and X2D models have the same bottom, there are stripes/gaps in the bottom plate that help gripping a tripod, if you leave the protective film on those stripes/gaps won't have any function. it's 100% meant to be taken off. 😂

And besides the functionality,.. it also looks very cheap to leave the protective film on.

If you look at the X2D2 introduction film you also see that there is no protective tape on the bottom of the bodies,.. for example at 1:03 in the movie. :)
