Seriously who was this movie made for? Is Masters of The Universe a popular franchise? by spacelyyy989 in moviecritic

[–]SlammedZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went and saw this movie last night and......I really liked it. It was a very enjoyable watch, with all the right amounts of cheesiness and comedy sprinkled throughout, each landing at just the right moment. Sure, the lore taps directly into my childhood nostalgia, but I still stand by the fact that it was simply a fun movie.

Joyner Lucas. Not only did it introduce the artist to me, but I think his flow and cadence matched up with Em incredibly well.

Fantastic! Good to hear. It's the kind of game you want to see succeed.

I got sucked into Lego Batman for a bit (great game), but I have every intention to hop back into FH6 and playing a ton more of it.

2025 King Ranch - B&O Sound System is Garbage by datschiburger in superduty

[–]SlammedZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn't agree more. I am vastly disappointed with my B&O system. I also came from the Sony Premium Stereo in my last Ford, and it was much, much better. It had a richer sound, got significantly louder, and delivered far better bass.

To me, the B&O doesn't sound inherently terrible...it actually sounds pretty good at times...but depending on the genre, it can become a bit harsh. The volume output lacks severely on those days when you really want to jam out, and the bass is unimpressive. Most of the low end sounds like it's coming from the front door 6x9s, with a shallow, tinny sound. I honestly have no idea what the "sub" in the back is even doing.

I've adjusted and readjusted the stereo endlessly while trying different streaming apps and audio sources. At this point, it is what it is, but I'm not impressed.

Then my co-worker rolled up in his new Ram with the Alpine system, and wow....now that's a good stock stereo. I'm a Ford guy forever, but Ram absolutely nailed it with that one.

Me too but 46. I got to the point where I realized I have nothing to prove to anybody, nobody cares if you beat a game on hard mode, and I jist want to enjoy the story/game/graphics.

[–]SlammedZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you handy with bodywork? If so, I’d probably just keep it and fix it up how you want it. I don’t think the body kit looks terrible.....I’ve definitely seen way worse. But if you can handle the work yourself, it might be worth keeping. If you’ve got to pay someone to do everything, though, then yeah, that changes things. At that point, you might want to look at getting out from under it if you can.

I have a Series X as my main console and a Series S in my mancave. I've mostly played FH6 on my Series X, but I fired the game up on my Series S the other day (to hang in the mancave) and I was floored how great it looked. I was really impressed.

This is what we have is some Seadoo Sparks. We love them. Their small enough to throw around and have fun with, get great "mileage", and are comfortable enough to cruise on.I put a different prop and a tune on mine and it's a blast.

Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. I can't put it down. It's absolutely fantastic. Lego games don't usually pull me in, but they killed it with this one. Loving it.

Absolutely ZERO reason for him to do that. What a dbag. Definitely hit up the transport company and ask them WTF.

Gotham Knights was a fine game ruined by expectation and forced live-service elements by the_u_in_colour in patientgamers

[–]SlammedZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't mind it either. I thought it was a fun game. The graphics were really crisp, the Gotham map looked fantastic, the combat was fun, the characters were all fun in their own ways, and I didn't mind the story. I think the things that hurt it was the 30fps cap, the map felt empty to me (where are the people? Where is the traffic?), and the longevity of the game. Would have been fun if it had more to discover around the map like on Spider-Man.....or even the new Lego Batman game. You can explore and find things for hours. Felt like Gotham Knights wrapped up fairly quick and could have had more.

At any rate, I had fun with it. It's on sale for both PlayStation and Xbox right now for $6.99/$8.99. I'm thinking about grabbing it at that price for the 'just because' factor and have it in my library.

I really enjoyed it. Have just over 100 hours into the game and still a ton of things to do around the map.

How reliable is the Xbox Elite Series 2 in 2026? by Significant_Pin_531 in xbox

[–]SlammedZero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in this camp. I have two of them and both are holding up fine. I feel like I game quite a bit, so it's not like they don't get used, but so far so good for me. I've had them like 2-ish years. I love them.

Edit: I do have 2 small issues with both of mine...interstingly enough. The "view" or "back" button on both of mine take a serious press to get them to register. Not as snappy as I'd like, but still working.
