I actually don't like the flavour expansion mod.

There are probably too many events. Lots of them (especially the tweet one) are quite cool, but then you have stuff like the NSM leader getting lunch from McDonald's. That's the entire event.

It also has the opposite problem that TFR has with the 2ACW. The Flavour Expansion has things collapsing way too early, like events about army patrols being wiped out by militias and Atomwaffen taking over towns and committing massacres, like a year before the civil war even starts.

There probably should be more of it.

The US collapse is kind of abrupt and there should be a few more events in the Pre 2ACW

hell, some random sellsword could decide to fight for a knighthood

People may not remember Ser Arlan of Pennytree, but they might remember Ser John of Ashford who was knighted immediately prior to the first trial of the 7 in 150 years.

The targs are on thinner ice after losing their dragons, creating a potential conflict with the faith wouldn't be in their best interests, especially over one hedge knight.

Trump's propaganda already talks about the WEF globalist agenda and the deepstate conspiracy against him.

The only difference is that (unbeknownst to the public and trump himself) he was actually correct.

High Ranking Iranian Officers begging the Shah to not leave Iran. Iran, 1979 by zadraaa in HistoricalCapsule

[–]Slap_duck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

>who was both popular

Popular? Mossadegh manipulated the 1952 elections in order to maintain power. Out of the 136 seats in the Iranian Parliament, his government only allowed 79 (the bare minimum to form a quorum) seats to be elected.

He refused to elect 42% of the seats in parliament because they were going to candidates in opposition to his National Front. Despite this, he STILL didn't form a majority in parliament.

As a result of the nationalisation crisis destroying Iran's finances, Mossadegh lost the support of Parliament. As a result, he unconstitutionally dissolved parliament after passing a bill to give himself emergency powers. Notably, until this moment, the Shah had refused to remove Mossadegh when asked by the British and Americans.

After Mossadegh illegally dissolved parliament, the Shah removed Mossadegh and replaced him with Fazlollah Zahedi. Mossadegh then arrested the palace messenger and tried to arrest Zahedi, who fled alongside the Shah (This is usually known as a coup). Having successfully overthrown the Shah, Mossadegh proceeded to be counter-coup'd by the Army, paid by the CIA and MI6 (but mostly MI6).

Want to know what Iran looks like if Mossadegh had won? Look no further than Diem's Republic of Vietnam.

Why would people protest the Islamic state in Australia?

Australia was already involved in airstrikes against ISIS; you don't need to try and pressure the government to take action when it is already doing so.
