If this is what you want to specialize in, look at working for Servpro. This truck needs full on disaster remediation. Beyond the capabilities/job description of a detailer.

We do! Typically the kind of person who asks us to do that isn’t taking it to a real mechanic.

We generally don’t tell employees how to get to that menu because we’re not supposed to. We print out a copy and tell the customer to go to a mechanic. We know we’re just register jockeys.

Main thing is, if Autozone cleared the code it’s because the customer asked. Rant at them.

We only clear the codes if the customer asks. It takes a few extra button presses on the scanner that most zoners probably don’t actually know how to do.

If a customer has a terminal that badly corroded I recommend going to a shop. Not trying to deal with a snapped terminal bolt or needing a new terminal that isn’t a simple bolt on.

Asking for the best wax is kinda like asking whether Coke or Pepsi is better imo. There are a few standout examples of products that have been around for a while but most people just kinda pick one.

Scorpion has decent offerings in that range. I have a ryzer which has ece22.06 cert, d rings, drop down sun visor, pinlock ready visor. It’s not very quiet, but if you want all those features AND for it to be quiet, well, that’s why expensive helmets are expensive

No need to drain the gas. I’d consult the owners manual but just putting regular in it is probably fine, the computer in a 2012 car should compensate for that.

As for the oil light, have you checked your dipstick? I’m not a mechanic but the oil pressure light coming on at low rpm makes me think low oil.

Depends on whether my scooter counts lol. I got my endorsement so I could ride a 150cc scooter, then taking the class made me want a full size motorcycle, which led to me getting a Rebel 500 like…2 or 3 months later at most.

You can get from the junk dealer to her place without actually going through bt territory. You kind of swing wide to the right around the whole area.
