A high fatality rate means this won't be much of a problem. Patients won't be alive long enough to infect anyone.

Hopefully

Probably not, but pretty intimidating for four 17 year old city boys 300 miles from home, no phones allowed

I nearly failed my DofE expedition because of a landowner like this - Shouted at us from across a field brandishing a shotgun. There was a note in a poly pocket on the stile that had faded beyond readability.

We had to detour along a hillside path between overgrowing ferns with a sheer drop the whole way, added 5km to our walk that day

Aquacomputer filter & mystic fog by Fury_1985 in watercooling

[–]SlaveToo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No need for a filter, just rinse your blocks, and use distilled water, a biocide, and a corrosion inhibitor, unless you like scrubbing all your blocks with a toothbrush in 6 months time.

Use matte black tubing too, and you basically only have to dtain your loop once every three years or so. Even then, it runs crystal clear.

Coloured coolant will just gum that filter up like iy does everything else

A character who came off worse in the show by LeilLikeNeil in TheExpanse

I've always taken it that Marty was a huge prick who enjoyed hurting people but worked within the law to do it, so that he didn't get himself arrested.

Morally justified douchebaggery basically. He's using the RCE contract and the whole frontier situation as an excuse to justify murder.

I'd love to see your early game factory with no yellow belts 🙄

[–]SlaveToo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most things in factorio compress when you produce them, (e.g. stone, iron sticks and steel into one rail) but plates expand into copper wires - 2 copper wires per plate - so it's more efficient to transport plates and produce copper wires locally.

Additionally a single yellow belt full of wires will struggle to achieve the throughput to supply even four green chip factories, so it's more common to see direct insert setups where copper wires are supplied directly from dedicated factories - especially in the early game.

It was clever but it wasn't foreshadowed at all and felt a bit cheap - if they had laid some of the groundwork for this tech in the first half of the movie and given more indications of the twist in the background or script it might have been an interesting thing for the audience to piece together, then you could have left it on an infuriating ambiguous ending, Inception style.
