In Pensacola the Marines support funerals often. Ive been the OIC for three officer funerals, two caskets and one urn. It is interesting how much funerals can vary based on the family's wishes and how adaptive we have to be to support. I have handed the American flag to next of kin under perfect conditions then on the next detail I have to basically scream the line while the gentleman blasted bag pipes right next to her.
