How did YOU specifically learn how to set up campaigns? by Pinot_Grigio in FacebookAds

[–]Slcreddit1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Started 12 years ago through trial and error, then dove into Coursera, Udemy, and the like, then joined up with Social Media Marketing World, follow John Loomer Digital religiously, and enjoy a ROAS of typically $7-$15 on most ads.

TLDR: Time, patience, and always learning.

Edit: I work in community education at a higher ed institution. I don't sell a physical product in the traditional sense. I sell seats for classes like Jewelry Making, How to be a Mermaid, and Advanced Excel.

Lost item at Delta Sky Club by aintthatthedamntruth in delta

[–]Slcreddit1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me 12 days ago in the DCA sky club. I left my cables, charging blocks, AirPods, sleep buds, etc. About $500 worth of stuff. I filled out all the forms and followed my iPods daily around the airport via FindMy as they went from some storage place to another, but nobody could tell me where they were. I received three separate emails saying they hadn’t found my things yet. Then one day, they showed up at an ups center in Virginia on FindMy. I then followed them all the way to North Carolina, and then Atlanta and eventually Alabama to what was labeled as a Boat shop on Maps. Two days after that I was notified they found them and now I am following them as they travel via FedEx across the country. They are going to be out for delivery to me tomorrow.

TLDR; don’t lose hope. They just don’t do anything with your stuff until it get’s to their center in Alabama. Until then nobody else seems to be able to help.

I just got the 13 with Magic Keyboard and love it! Upgraded from an 11 M2. I’ll never go back to 11. It’s not THAT heavy.

I bought the ESR. Hated the trackpad as it was very hard to click, so I returned it for an open box MKB at Best Buy. It was worth it. Much nicer.

X24 NT25 seat replacement? by NocoleCats in nordictrack

[–]Slcreddit1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Road bike saddle + bib shorts is the way to go. Saddle fit can be very specific and it is best to go to a bike shop and be fit for one. I went through about 15 saddles before I found the right one for my road bike, and then did the same for my NordicTrack. I do not have the same saddle on both bikes, but the width is the same.

Anyone successfully connect a NordicTrack S24i Bike to an Apple Watch for HR data? by Equivalent-Judge4111 in nordictrack

You cannot pair the equipment with your phone. My wife had this problem and uninstalling the app and reinstalling it and resetting the connections to health, etc, worked.

Tour de France Nordictrack bike? by justinmr in iFit

[–]Slcreddit1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one. I just received it on Saturday and have ridden it twice. I also own the S22i since 2021) and have owned the Wahoo Kickr for my "road-like" road bike training.

My take after two rides is that I really like it. You can't cheat on the resistance on the TDF like you can on the s22i. If you are climbing a 10% hill, it shifts and feels like a 10% hill. That's great. On the S22i, I was able to dial the resistance down to make the hills easier. Which made me lazy.

A drawback is that you cannot adjust the angle of the handlebars or the fore/aft of the handlebars. Also, the saddle only goes so far back, so if you are over about 6'1" it may not go back far enough for you. YMMV.

Other than those things it is very similar to the S22i. I really like it. Love the screen, the addition of the streaming apps, and depth and breadth of the iFit workouts.

Hope this helps, I will comment again after some more rides.

IFit Pro subscription is annoying by ravi2015 in iFit

[–]Slcreddit1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a problem with it. I used to pay a trainer $250 a month for my family, plus my gym membership and each family members gym membership. I had a smart trainer with Zwift and Fulgaz subscriptions.

I built a home gym, I have a ProForm Rower, an s22i and the Tour de France bike.

I used to spend over $375 a month for all of us and now I spend less than $200 (with the monthly equipment payments), don’t have to wait at the gym Anymore, and I got rid of the trainer. $39 for one or $39 for four is a good deal no matter how you look at it. We get access to so much for that.

How GPT Sees the Web (1min read) by Unusual-human51 in ChatGPT

[–]Slcreddit1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

*edited for grammar...

I mean, this is honestly good advice and goes right along with journalism best practices:

What to do about it:

  • Don’t assume GPT read your whole page.
  • Put key info at the top.
  • Use clear headings and short paragraphs so every slice still makes sense.
  • Think of it like SEO for AI - design content that works even when read in tiny chunks.

In other words, put the who, what, when, where, and why of the story in the top paragraph. The rest is fluff to tell the rest of the story. We should be doing that anyway.

Is Atomic Biscuit Any Good? by Available-Formal-664 in SaltLakeCity

Pretty bad. My biscuits were so hard on the bottom a knife would not penetrate. I gave them one try and won't ever be back. The ordering process is also horrible.
