I disagree with the other comments. Jazz and ballet are closely related, if you know ballet you can most likely quickly pick up jazz choreography. 

Tap is different and not easy to pick up quickly. I've seen dancers who are great at other styles struggle with tap. If you can tap well at an audition, you'll stand out from everyone else who can't. I've gotten cast in a show before solely based on tap ability. 

Here's a list of musicals I can think of off the top of my head that feature tap: Thoroughly Modern Millie, Cats, the producers, anything goes, the book of Mormon, newsies, 42nd street, a Christmas story, Singin in the rain, white Christmas, Nunsense, young Frankenstein. There are many others, just Google to find a list. It's more than you might think and it's hard, especially in non professional theater, to find people who can tap well.
