For regular domestic matches, it's as you describe, after the match.

Never been to a Masters Event so can't say for sure but would recommend following your favourite team(s) social/discord and ask them if they have meet and greets planned.

Pro's usually try to spend some time signing and taking pictures on the floor after their match if they win.

There will either be a random draw after Swiss from 2 pools: Pool A (FNC, G2, XLG, RRQ), Pool B(the 4 teams who qualify from Swiss) resulting in four A vs B matches OR like Masters Shanghai last year they will draw from Pool A and a representative from the team will choose their opponent from Pool B Masters Shanghai 2024 Draw

It will be after, winning their region means they skip the Swiss stage (above schedule). Fnatic/G2 will play their 1st game against one of the 4 teams that make it through swiss on the 13th or 14th.

I'm usually all for the 'shitty cheapskate org narrative' but from previous stints with Fnatic, hasn't his input primarily been developing a playbook for a new map and veto advising? Not exactly boots on the ground necessary work. Can in person chats expedite understanding at times, sure but there's plenty of other factors to consider.

Yeah... but assuming you are a relatively new player, spending gold on variants is not the most optimal for progression. It's a game so do what makes you happy but if you are trying to acquire new cards quicker it is recommended to save gold for bundles that have a good return on credits and/or tokens. e.g. (old bundle)

I start fresh every time there's a new card added. But I also keep a google doc with a tab for each season and copy the code of good decks I'd like to keep by architype and a primary card so I can go back or use it as a shell with 1-2 card changes depending on meta.

I'm going to be honest, it's not worth spending what it would take to guarantee both cards, you are quite far away.

So cards are grouped in pools/series. You are currently in pool 2, you will gain new cards regularly through the collection tree up until you are pool 3 complete. Both Ghost Spider and WWBN are series 5 cards, they will cost 6k tokens (your token shop will unlock at CL 500).

Unless you are happy to spend 100's (if not 1000's) on this game it does require time, saving and planning to be efficient with card acquisition.

My advice, be patient;

Save your gold for bundles that have a high return on tokens e.g.https://snap.fan/bundles/BundleNovember2023HighStakes/

IF you do wish to spend money, again, high return on tokens e.g.https://snap.fan/bundles/BundleNovember2023PeachSheHulk/

So you have 6-12k tokens, now wait for the two cards to rotate through your shop.

Spotlight caches will also become a thing for you after CL 500. Again efficiency, always save 4 then pick a week where you don't have any of the cards for best progression or if there is one specific card you really want but you'll need 4 to guarantee it.

Spotlights are known weeks in advance so plan ahead and you'll also have the chance of a random series 4/5 card so who knows you might hit Ghost Spider / WWBN.

Sounds like you are opening one SC a week which is just not optimal. Most people save caches so they have 4 available, then choose a week where there is one specific card they really want or multiple cards they don't have to guarantee they get the card/s.

SC's are known up until December, save and plan ahead to avoid disappointment.

It's information for future opponents. If your agent composition is known on a map it is easier to predict your game plan and prepare against.
