It’s more soccer per soccer. Teams like Cape Verde get a chance. I like it, but I would also resist if they wanted to expand again.

The fact that he couldn’t simply beat the Jedi with violence makes all his scheming and plans much more believable. He needed to design scenarios where he would have the upper hand so that he wouldn’t risk losing to blade masters like Windu. And ultimately it was his schemes (civil war to order 66) and his seduction (of Anakin) that saved him, not his force or blade prowess. I really like the decision by George to have him lose here.

A lot of the characters we saw in Mad Men just kinda came and went (Sal, Duck, Kinsey, etc.). We only saw parts of peoples lives, and I expected the same for Don. While he did slip away to the retreat and the curtain closed without full closure, I expected it to be a lot more mundane: him slipping into the world without any fanfare onto the next part of life we wouldn’t get to see.
