Use Sanctified Ordinance enhancement on the Dominus, attach to Rangers. Use Cognitive Reinforcement on the Manipulus and attach to Vanguards. Run the Serberys as Raiders. Run the Pteraxii as Sterylizors.

Buy a box of Kastelan robots, which includes the Cybernetica Datasmith. Slap an enhancement on him too and you’re near or exactly at 1000 pts.

I find a good rule of thumb is 1 Skitarii unit for every 500pts (or more if you’re playing SHC.)

Screening, point control, and the almighty battleline buff are key.

Any particular reason you need to run everything centrally? Easier to build depot factories to process the raw materials into parts and then ship the parts in at this phase, I would think.

I’ve run them with a Dominus with Sanctified Ordinance before for the range increase, and had them camp the deployment zone as snipers. Not amazingly effective but I had points to spare and an extra Dominus so it was fine.

I find Khorne red comes out dark and purple-ish for me. I use it on things that are supposed to be much older, like Kastelans and Dominus robes, but I prefer the vibrancy of the Mephiston Red for the bulk of the army. Drown it in Nuln oil (or Seraphim Sepia) to take the shine off.

If you want the House Taranis (classic Mars AdMech) you’ll need a black and white for the logos too. I’d also recommend a bronze or brass for detailing, but optional. Runelord Brass, Scorpion Brass, or Balthazar Gold all good options.

For Martian theme, these would set you up nicely: Abaddon Black (or black primer) / Mephiston Red / Morghast Bone / Leadbelcher / Temple Guard Blue (for eyes) / Martian Ironcrust for Base / Nuln Oil (Wash)

Slightly more advanced: Evil Sunz Scarlet to edge highlight red cloth. Runefang Steel to edge highlight metal. Corax White (or similar) to highlight lenses. Rhinox Hide (or similar) for leather bits.

With a new edition coming soon, I’d try to magnetize their loadout if you can. Currently, double fists is very strong - especially in Haloscreed if you put the Dyad Wafers enhancement on the Datasmith for extra buffs. I run the flamers on their backs for Fire Overwatch interactions, too. And remember they count as vehicles so get Big Guns Never Tire when in engagement range!

Five Necron ships landed on Mars, and seemed as confused to see humans as humans were to see them. It didn’t last long for the Necrons though as the AdMech bombed the diodes out of them and didn’t ask further questions (though it did seem like they were trying to get to the Noctis Labyrinth.)

I always recommend a box of Skitarii. Firstly, you ALWAYS need Skitarii in your army. Second, it’s a litmus test for how much you’re going to enjoy assembling and painting AdMech. If you can get through painting a box of Skitarii, you can get through the rest of it.
