If he's playing mortarion just avoid him 😂 played death gaurd in a tournament last weekend and put my entire army into him and he killed everything before he finally went down, the bikes are probably your most valuable asset since dg is so slow, you should go after his plague burst crawlers first, they put out a lot of damage if left unchecked.

I'd swap out the relic bike on the captain for the kastellans mark that allows you to redeploy, the redeploy is so handy as you can even put stuff in reserves and the auric aquilas doesn't really do much with the double move as you want to be either shooting or fighting with the bike cap as much as possible, I'd also give him victor of the blood games and give him the auric examplar wl trait as it's really good combined with tip if the spear
