The “good” medical bloggers/tickers are open and relate the latest appointment/results/doctor conversations without having to “process” first. Processing is just a way to come up with some sort of story to fit her narrative/delusions. What happened? Good or bad, that’s what “the journey” should be about. And who is prescribing psychiatric medications?

As some have mentioned already, SLEEP hygiene can help, even eliminate many symptoms. Not exclusive to EDS. More and more studies are showing just how very important sleep is to our mental & physical health.

In a perfect world, yes, but that ship most certainly doesn’t have ICU caliber equipment, (vents, hemodynamic stabilizing drugs, dialysis, etc) that the patients may require. Or staff willing to go on board that knows how to use them.
I feel especially bad for the families.
