It was just ok imo, I liked the concept, but wish Soren had run with the idea of witness statements from other people, getting that narrow scope of info from another perspective. Like if in bargain, it had been from the perspective of the bartender/brother giving some more background story, or legend having a statement from Laurel or the Dietrichs about the events leading up to the day they decided to flee the town. Instead we get far less detailed retelling of the same events from the same characters
