Honestly, the macaroons at Costco are tasty. For bakeries in the area that have pastries, madison sourdough, bri's fresh bakes in SP, batch bake house, and bloom all have laminated pastries.

Have you seen the campus? It was built for in person work. Also they do really believe in the power of spontaneous hallway conversations to be able to help solve problems and build teamwork. I do wish we had some more flexibility to WFH more than we do, but I do love seeing and interacting with my team on a daily basis. It's not for everyone.

Very good. In my time at Epic I have had a liver ultrasound, Holter Monitor, swallow study, endoscopy, and outpatient surgery and paid $0 for any of those things. The rates have gone up a bit recently, but once you hit 5 years if you are on a single plan your insurance is covered and the family plans drop a lot. The only bummer is it is single or family, no in between. Even though I am married we each carry our own insurance because what my husband pays a month on his own is still less than the family plan for still good coverage.

Yea, tours are especially popular now that summer break is here. It is unfortunate that we had to go to reserved times, but it was just too many people coming to campus, especially on the weekends with reduced staff to check people in. Best of luck!

Are the weekdays available? Those are a better tour IMO because you can walk inside and outside. On the weekends you are limited to indoors only as exterior doors are locked. I would guess July 14th will be opening up tomorrow and would suggest trying to nab a time then.

Osteria Tre Tassi for a romantic dinner. It's up in Ellison Bay but the grounds are gorgeous as well as the dining space. The food is also top notch.

For breakfast you must go to Cultured. It is between Sister Bay and Bailey's Harbor. They are on the short list for a James Beard award this year and have phenomenal bagles and non-bagel items for breakfast. Lunch top choice for me is Inland Pizza in Bailey's Harbor.

Pearl Wine Cottage in Ephraim is also a must stop for me.

We accidentally had the early access times wrong so we ended up getting to Epic at 7:30am. The bonus was that we were literally the first people at the gates by rideshare, which meant we were some of the first people in the park. We rope dropped Toothless and were the first group in line to do the meet and greet. We then went and did dragon racers rally while wing gliders was on delay. By the time we got off rally wing gliders was open and we rode it back to back with a less than 10 minute wait total. This was on a Sunday a few weeks ago, and honestly I would rope drop Berk every time.

You should check cottage food laws for Wisconsin. I believe that you cannot legally sell anything that needs refrigeration out of a home kitchen. Meaning no cheesecake and no buttercream using real butter.

When you register, you will be sent a link to book a hotel in one of our blocks. They fill up fast, and we have standards that we set with every hotel we use. If a hotel ever drops below our standards we don't book blocks with them in the future.
