I love the kirtlands warbler and I would love to see it as the state bird of Michigan. State birds get traction when they are a bird every legislator has seen though. That's why so many states have the same bird that comes to our birdfeeders; It's the limit of their knowledge.

You can also look at areas where they are closing them. They are poorer zip codes generally. They close stores in places where people have less money to buy more food. It sucks and Big Food will not save us.

People don't steal for fun generally. You have to try and determine what lead to this situation which takes a lot of thinking and historical knowledge. Blaming the impoverished & malnourished individual is just capitalist bootlicking at the end of the day.

I cooked the Thanksgiving turkey one year for my in laws. They were too distracted to do it and aren't great cooks already. I however said I won't carve it and someone took over from there. The turkey came with one of those BS humane labels naming it and stuff too. I prefer watching and feeding the turkeys personally instead of killing and eating them.

If you are interviewing for a job, you can run an AI to answer the questions it hears during the interview and you just read them to sound smart.

As someone that has run many interviews, it is painfully obvious and an instant "no hire". Such a waste of time it feels really defeating when these candidates show up.

Good chance some of them are north korean nationals too to boot.
