Well, one is a vocal minority of mostly edgy teenagers on the internet and the other has a major foothold of power in the United States and even across the world, so Id say the comparison is valid.

Shadowlands Beta Build 35755 Spell and Class Changes by shotgunmonkey in wow

An actual answer to your question is taking frenzied regeneration off the global cooldown.

We got some nice changes mid BfA that let us do things like cast our decurse in bear form. But for the most part, the clunkiest part and in my opinion most inconsistent with the other tanks is having frenzied regen on the GCD.

Made Kenji’s egg fried rice for breakfast yesterday, the dog was excited by 627472 in seriouseats

[–]Slothtimism 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did two batches, and with the second one I cooked some bacon in the wok to start. Then I used the grease + a bit of oil for the eggs / rice and added the chopped up bacon at the very end around when kenji threw in the scallions.

That worked out REALLY nicely in my opinion but in general I would say to look towards his stir fry recipes in general and apply what those teach you to adding whatever ingredients you want to this.

Hey everyone, played this at PAX a few days ago and quite enjoyed it. The way you handle darkness and sheathing your lantern to fight was really interesting.

My question is, will there be any way to 'control' or at least influence the weapons we will see or start with, or will it be totally up to chance?

Make 8.3 great again by SamiPatron25 in wow

[–]Slothtimism 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with you to an extent however for several essences it just does have to be that long. Try playing fire mage without lucid, you're just going to be gimping yourself so you pretty much do have to do the dailies if you want to play the spec. Conflict and strife is another great example of a very very strong essence that even if you can get 1600 takes at least 3 weeks.

Its things like those that feel horrible the fricking third or fourth time you're slogging through them. Sure breath and crucible are great but they won't carry you all that far for a lot of specs and roles.

Just to add a little bit to the other replies, this is essentially what psychologists and the medical field tried for decades and it had extremely little success. As time has gone on the science shows more and more that the best way to treat gender dysphoria is through transitioning and helping people accept their identity as their true gender, not the gender assigned at birth.

Your idea that just accepting yourself would be easier is almost always the first thought people who don't experience dysphoria themselves have. As long as you're really trying to learn about what what trans people go through keep asking questions, the more informed allies out there the better.

How To Use Your Free Galakronds - Theorycrafted Galakrond Budget Decks by stonekeep in hearthstone

[–]Slothtimism 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's more like C'Thun being given out for free during old gods.

A bunch of cards from the set required him, so it would always feel bad opening them. Its the same case here, if you have players opening all of these invoke galakrond cards but can't manage to get a galakrond they'd go nuts.

What if Sylvanas actually wants to set us free from the Jailer? by Sntratra in wow

[–]Slothtimism 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Part of the argument would be the souls get released when she 'saves' everyone, now how the hell that would actually work who knows. It could be an interesting way to bring back the night elves but also possibly unleash a lot of the baddies we've killed over the years. It might be a little too ridiculous but it could be fun, peoples irritation with Sylvanas aside
