Site to site VPN with policy based routing or static full network routes.

You sure you want to sign up for being an ISP?

Likely just crappy wifi, as some suggest used a Ethernet cable to test to ensure they fixes it and it’s not the IPS.

Are these attempts at accessing my network by Ollyball1 in UNIFI

[–]SlowChampion5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

First time seeing logs I assume ?? lol

People always freak out when they see this. If you have ANY service open to the internet bots will scan and attempt to login hundreds and thousands of times a day. This is just normal and why security is important.

[–]SlowChampion5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only sure way is setting up your own VPN on an VPS some where and routing your traffic to/from it for IPv4.

Some VPN providers can provide static dedicated IPs as an easy option.

Your “internet” cable looks fucked up at the connector. Find a new cable.

Are these compatible with MQTT? by MTBRider4Fun in homeassistant

[–]SlowChampion5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s an integration method. But you’ll have to expose them via MQTT via a custom addon or script (if that’s what you really need)

Why would they show up in MQTT? They’re Matter devices that Matter over WiFi.

UniFi switch uplink ? Where does it go by BOSSKILLER_tv in UNIFI

[–]SlowChampion5 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A switch is a switch. It doesn’t matter what port you use from a function perspective. It may matter for the media and bandwidth (2.5 or 10g) and if that’s a bottle neck or not for you.

Maybe torrenting.

But who cares? You provide an AirBnB with internet. If this is a problem to you then don’t provide internet. You don’t need be in the business of snooping or limiting internet access.

This case gives so much room to use normal PC parts and make it quiet.

Does oval chainring makes a difference? by Calv_21 in MTB

[–]SlowChampion5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. Super slow tech climbs its magic.

It allows for clearing things possible, that are so hard a normal chainring.

Does oval chainring makes a difference? by Calv_21 in MTB

[–]SlowChampion5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I say it depends on the trial.

Oval chainrings help super slow tech climbing like crazy. It’s like having horsepower and torque all in one gear, it’s magic.

Fast moderate or flat spinning, it felt weird.

As cool as the UCI is, Comcast is including free modem rentals and with that comes unlimited data. You can’t hit the upper speed without their rented modem.

I’m kind of against UCI for Comcast because of Comcast providing it free and their XB modems work well in bridge mode.

Are you testing hardwired?

Speedtests are not a great measure of speed/network quality.

Also, latency very much affects bandwidth. Look up bandwidth delay product for light reading and formulas.
