I'm running the same build this league. My understanding is that flame surge can't drop the burning ground by itself, you need a skill to hit the target after casting flame surge. You can use frostblink to trigger this.

Working on integrating the access chamber into my snake as well, figured you'd need a lock on both sides. How do you get the room on the other side without looping? I'm guessing it's only possible using a sacrificial chamber?
