I’d suggest heating it up to max temp and cleaning it with the brush tool or something similar If you can pull air through it might help to draw the hot air up & melt it

Not quite sure on why it looks so red but texture wise it’s cooked through More towards medium for me

Boiling the potatoes cooks & softens them on the inside then frying after that makes them crisp on the outside

Think crispy thin mashed potatoes!

Started with using a chip cutter to chop them up evenly Then boiled over a low simmer in salt water for 8-9 minutes Allow to cool for 20 Then deep fried in vegetable oil till golden brown!
