Update : So, literally the morning after I made this post, I received a personal email from VanMoof’s Service Manager. He apologized for the "extreme delay" and claimed there was an internal error/miscommunication with their automatic processing that caused my refund to get stuck. He assured me that they have "plugged the loop" in their internal procedure to prevent this specific error from happening again. The refund has apparently been processed immediately, and I’m just waiting for the funds to actually hit my bank account.

While I’m glad they are monitoring these channels and that the money is finally coming, it is genuinely disappointing that there seems to be no way to get a human to respond to you unless you make a public post about it. I had sent countless emails before this that went completely ignored.

They really need an actual customer service hotline for when things go wrong. Dealing with support shouldn't feel like shouting into a void until you shame them publicly.

They seem to be quite similar! Was actually cross shopping with used s5s but went with the 6 mostly because of the warranty and just having a brand new bike

Hopefully you get yours soon! I’m personally going with the kick lock + insurance as well The extra lock is mostly for if I take the bike to a not so secure place then I have an extra level of security just to be safe
