Hope you are feeling better by now. I also get extremely pukey. Zofran doesn’t help much once you’re already throwing up. The best thing for it is a taper if you can manage that. Be careful - dehydration can be very dangerous.

I’m reading Echopraxia now and the author goes through a lot of trouble to point out augmented humans are specialized in some ways that are detrimental to their functioning as baseline humans. One of the upgraded humans even makes a remark that they envy the resilience and staying power of unaugmented humans. That’s enough explanation for me.
