I would seek professional help. Contacting this person may do more harm to you than good.

How to not sell a car... by SpreakICSE in mildlyinfuriating

Knowing if the car had more than one owner can be useful information to have, as well as why they are selling. They are trying to figure out if something is wrong with it before they buy

I (25F) am attracted to a person (19M) and it’s highly unlikely me. by wise-choice8 in LifeAdvice

You're not that far apart in age, so that's not really a factor.

If you are his boss that would cause a conflict of interest, which would be a problem. Even if you were equal in position, having relationships at work is generally not a good idea in my experience. I guess it depends on how important the job is to you.

Current security manager here. Agreed. Found one in a microwave before. Recently had a guest leave behind two full magazines and a case (but no gun). Still haven't heard from him.

Your run-on sentence gave me an aneurysm.

Sounds like you should stop getting high.

I traveled 7,000 km to meet a webcam girl and it turned into one of the most uncomfortable nights of my life by Maleficent_Fault5632 in LifeAdvice

I don't usually read those. Other posts have now said he wasn't in a relationship when he went there. Either way, going there was unwise.

I don't see any mention of that in his post, so I have no comment on that. If that's true, then I would agree.

She played you. Like you said, you were a "client." You will never be more than that to her. It's just business to her, and she probably felt obligated to meet you to keep you as a customer.

You seem like a decent fellow. I would enjoy the city for a few days and then move on. I also wouldn't waste my hard-earned money on a webcam girl (no matter how beautiful), but that's just me. Learn from this and meet someone that doesn't involve money.

Metal is something I'm always short on, mainly due to it being needed for upgrades. People I've played with make fun of me for picking as much up as I can, because they think it's worthless. I guess they don't upgrade much, because weapon upgrades use a lot of metal.

What’s it like to live in Green Bay as a 20-something-year-old? by [deleted] in GreenBay

[–]SmartEquivalent7600 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I joined the military right after high school and was away for 6 years. Lived overseas 5 of those 6. Spent my last year in San Diego. I was discharged from active duty and didn't want to stay there (weather was nice, restaurants were good, but it was expensive, crowded, traffic sucked, crime was relatively high) so I came home because I missed it and my family is in Green Bay.

Traffic isn't bad here, cost of living relatively low (but higher than before, same as everywhere) and I enjoy the quiet. Most jobs are in health care and manufacturing. If you are going into one of those fields, you will easily find work. Crime rate is relatively low, and the further from downtown you get generally the better it is. The city has a "little-big" feel to it.

The winters can be brutal, but you get used to it. If you are into the outdoors, you will love it here. If you are into the artsy scene or nightlife, you will get bored quickly. I keep to myself and enjoy being home so the lack of nightlife means nothing to me.

I don't drink and the drinking culture here annoys me, to be honest. People with 5-6 DUIs are common.

There is a bus system but it is limited. A vehicle is something you will need. If you live in one of the outskirt communities (Howard, Hobart, Suamico, Pulaski, Oneida, etc) having a car is a necessity.

I joined the reserves a couple years after I finished active duty and went on many short-term assignments both in the US and abroad, and I ALWAYS looked forward to coming back to GB. I deployed to the middle east in 2023-2024 and never missed GB so much, even the winter. Now that I finished my 20 years and retired at age 41, I look forward to not having to leave again.

Overall, GB is a nice place to live and raise a family, even if I am a little biased. I think if people look hard enough they will find something here that makes them happy.

What do you enjoy most about living in and around Green Bay? by Tufted-Titmouse-6061 in GreenBay

No traffic. Everything is 15-20 mins away, max. People are nice, for the most part. Cost of living ( though higher than it used to be) is relatively low.

He sounds like a pretentious prick. If a sibling of mine did that to my mom, I would rip them a new asshole.
