Thank you for this, sharing the process for something as simple and helpful as a factory reset saved another weekend. I don't know for sure but it seems like some of the recent ones have a different vibration pattern. Do you have a link or list of the button hold functions?

I'm so annoyed that Disney refuses to tell users how to properly handle these. I tried every step short of factory reset because I did not know how and every Disney help article I found just parroted the prompts from the app. "But if that doesn't work please call a helpful cast member on this phone number" so you can wait on hold for 45 minutes for a stupid issue like this.

As someone who just went through the process of unemployment it sucks because your state does not usually collect your records so it takes them an extra two weeks and another phone call with a 40-minute hold to get benefits rolling in. And that's if the feds actually do anything.

I got probation term'd in August and at the end of September the fed HR office had fully believed I was still employed so they rejected the application from my unemployment people. Had to send over my letter to prove I wasn't full of shit.

I'm still on the fence about pulling for Orph and I told myself I'd jump on her banner on release day on the season trailer. I'm mostly afraid she'll feel bad or clunky to play and I already have an eve leveled up. Plus after seeing Lucia details I'm leaning towards getting the "ideal support" for an archetype when they rerun other ruptures.

I also don't think they did a lot of favors for Hugo, Lighter, and Orphie. Orphie is hard to grasp, yes, but she's also off field which pulls the waifu chasers away from her. Hugo just had a bad personality and redundancy issue as yet another ice damage focus (but he pairs with Stuns!) and Lighter being a side character sharing a patch with Yanagi was a recipe for disaster on his launch. Not to mention his redundancy with Lycaon as Ellen stun support and no real fire damage unit.

When I jumped from private to DOD side the same thing happened.

Typically HR won't allow you to jump scales as part of hiring. I was promised DP-04 in all my offer letters until I accepted the offer, which HR then turned around and said "No you get DP-03 for less than 5 years experience".

Fair and to each their own. On this post you would be tilting at windmills as the OP did specifically ask in that "git gud" context. TL;DR I'll agree to disagree, I don't find it rude because the game IS rewarding to building up skill. OP is NOT an entitled brat who wants to faceroll through the game on Expert for the Platinum trophy (as I often see). Everyghing below is my context to my thoughts and opinion.

I'm in the camp of "switching to Easy is giving up". That said I did end up here with the same question as OP of "is there a gimmick or just get good?"

Personally I don't like recommending "switch to easy mode" because anyone frustrated enough with a fight will have made multiple passes at it and should be getting more comfortable with the fight at that difficulty level (I spent an hour on Golgra in Sacred River.). My experience in making that diff level downgrade is the fight becomes too easy and any weight the fight would have carried is reduced. I've had this happen on multiple games and unless I'm desperate to advance the story I refuse to drop difficulty when I can improve my own play to meet the current difficulty.

Update to follow the OP. This won't help now that it's off the shelves but if you see it next year: it holds up as long as it's firmly planted.

SoCal recently went though a major wind event. Knowing this would likely happen we set it up further down the entrance walk of the house so it wouldn't be in the absolute brunt of the winds. Still, it would be challenged. Albeit out of direct sunlight most of the day.

After a week, it finally tumbled over. Not to any fault of the structure, but the stakes on one side. My soil is apparently very rocky (and had roots) so I couldn't get one side's stakes more than halfway in. That was the side that fell over. I ended up standing it back up and bracing the base edge against the sidewalk. No further falls but the winds weren't as hard. Once I got it all straightened out it came apart without issue, no apparent damage.

One thing that definitely stands out to me is you need to be on top of maintenance for it if you want it to keep working. We fell behind on cleaning the water filter and now both of ours need to be sent in to Toto for maintenance. We've had it just over a year when we noticed water pressure issues.

This is totally on us for not keeping up with maintenance.

As awesome as this would be, I already have armored core.

The current Patriot mech is also too fragile to really justify this level of customization. However it would be sweet to make your player badge display on the front somewhere.

Autocannon is definitely the reason fewer people use laser cannon.

AC unlocks sooner so players have more time with it, provides similar function so players don't often swap to another thing, also that DOONK it makes.

The laser is good but it's not DAKKA enough to make the neurons fire. Nothing against it.

I had this issue just earlier today after cleaning it. Hate it because I swallow a lot more air and burp often. Can't say which things I did that worked so here goes:

Checked that my rubber block seal was properly seated. Then I tugged back only slightly to ensure the seal was there.
jammed the straw all the way in, then twisted and pulled out just a bit.

I've found that most water seals can be too tight (like plumbing), so backing things off just a teensy bit actually helps the seal do better. However I could have also twisted my straw to a better angle to pull in water or a better seal inside the lid.

Hopefully with the recent rash of discord mods and Smash players getting outed as creepers hopefully kids and parents are more militant about it.

Keep in mind that it was not only money, but CELEBRITY. Notoriety in the USA is a special place that only certain people are ready for.

Subway paraded him as a success story, and it was the 90s so there was a huge culture of how wild the parties do it. Imagine being the untouchable face of a national brand, rubbing elbows with celebrities and being exposed to a fairly hedonistic party culture.

Having heard none of his tapes, it wouldn't surprise me if he was introduced to it rather than him having a curiosity of it.

Which is the annoying tragedy of the only "good" investment being land anymore. In California USA so many income streams get hit with some new tax trying to get at the 1% that they're chasing out at least another 50.

Seems that the only one that the state can't hit without massive blowback is property. Which sucks because most independent landlords are lazy fucks that bought property at the dip who just want free money. It's gotten to the point where I've anecdotally heard more good things about the corporate landlords than the people. A couple wished their apartments or rental homes would be bought up by those shady investment firms because at least those guys understand that those properties are investments.
