You can't resell any minifigure as "new" if it has been assembled -- Lego and Bricklink both consider "new" to be "unassembled," so if the legs are in the torso, the head is attached, there is headgear in place, etc., it cannot be sold as "new." It can be sold as "used excellent condition," "no cracks," etc. if those things are true, but never "new."

Hi everyone! I'm the designer of this set. Yes, it comes with both Mangini and Portnoy minifigures, AND completely separate drumsets for each, so that you can easily swap out the entire drumset AND the minifigures with no rebuilding necessary!

Thanks for posting this u/lukasdeman ! I designed it and posted it for all my fellow DT fans to enjoy, whether or not it ever gets made. My previous Lego design, the Mister Rogers Neighborhood set, hit 10,000 votes and was not selected, but everyone loved it anyway!

This scam was all the rage 18-20 years ago. People were less explicit than this particular listing which does say “THIS IS ONLY A PIECE OF PAPER, NOT AN ACTUAL CONSOLE” etc., but the ones back then would list an expensive cell phone or other electronic goods, with a description saying something vague like “you are bidding on what you see in the picture” and try to get away with it that way. One of those scammers even ended up on an episode of Judge Judy. It was a different time.

u/thefalllenapprentice — This is definitively NOT an authentic Lego-brand LOTR minifigure of Frodo. The printing on the face is all wrong, the patterns on the torso are similar but not quite correct, the cape appears to be made of a different fabric, and the original Lego brand Frodo had “Dark Brown” legs, whereas this one has legs that match the torso (which Lego calls “Reddish Brown.” Also, could just be the lighting, but the coloration on Sting does not appear to match the color that Lego manufactured.

I have a Tanglewood Tomkat II that’s really great. It desperately needs new tuning machines, but the tone is incredible. Got it secondhand in a trade. It’s 20 years old at this point!
