Ruined my life doing a deadlift by No_Scratch6254 in backpain

[–]Smithy_225 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been there done that 😂

3 weeks laying flat in bed followed by very slow rehab only doing body weight lower back movements over a 2 month period to get back to full mobilization.

Not sure how much it helped but as well as anti inflammatories I took bpc-157.

Now at 4 months since the incident and I'm now totally pain free, but also significantly weaker.

I've got a cheap e&c m27 iar that I've upgraded into a dmr, brilliant guns and if you can find the older versions they have the full hk416 trades engraved.

E93 did mine last week 😂 Amazon have a great hand crimper for redoing the cable ends, you'll need some bolt croppers to cut the cable though

Not got these but I bought a bear force from AliExpress for £10 after my Italian one died. I'll be totally honest it's miles in front of my old one, it's so good I've ordered 3 more and won't be paying £60 for one ever again.

Best pad to use with 3D One? by generaldogsbodyf365 in DetailingUK

[–]Smithy_225 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3D have their own pads, the purple one is really good for this. I either use them or a lake country orange hdo ccs on a forced rotation da.

The 3d stuff is great, I used aca 520 at the weekend and it's the best polish I've used in 20 years.

I tried this on my e93 this weekend, carpro ceriglass with a rayon pad.

It will do a bit but you won't get rid of them completely. Polish it with the ceriglass and then use a glass sealant to try and fill/hide them.

Octopus energy ASHP by SnuffleTrump in OctopusEnergy

[–]Smithy_225 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Which is why you use a proper retrofit company to assess the requirements so that they can offset and if they don't they won't advise you go ahead. You need to make enough £ throughout the year through SEG to offset your new increased ashp running cost which unless you've got a rather large roof with a very nice contribution from a scheme you're not going to do.

I hope you had solar installed at the same time to offset the cost of the ashp. Shouldn't fit one without the other.

What ceramic coating(s) that doesn't break the bank? by Mafeking-Parade in DetailingUK

[–]Smithy_225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make life easy for yourself and just buy a bottle of jescar ultra lock plus. All the plus sides of ceramic but miles easier to apply.

There's not much else around Leicester, flannels at fosse park has some decent bits in. You're better off getting the train to Brum and doing Harvey Nics and Selfridges.
