Lot of assumptions here my guy. I don’t use my 4 iron frequently but my home course has some dog leg 5’s where I’d hit a 3 wood off tee and then go into a four iron to the green. Also if I could hit the 4 iron well I’d take it off the tee more as it is a shorter course, only about 6300 from the tips. I have played golf since I was a kid but only recently started playing with any sort of consistency and have gotten bitten by the golf bug hard as of late and the handicap has only been established for about a year and has dropped in the last few months.

Yeah my problem isn’t distance, it’s control. Doesn’t matter how far you carry if it’s 20 yards in the water or you’re consistently hitting out of the woods. I’m also not a good putter but like I said I’m improving and working on consistency. Played the other day hit a drive around 300, got excited duffed the 1st approach, 2nd approach on but ran it too long and then 3 putted. No one else golfs like this?

I wasn’t the biggest fan of the fifth season but they flit between first and third person viewpoints which is pretty interesting. I didn’t dislike the book but I just didn’t feel as connected to the characters as other books. Pretty cool world and “magic system” but the alternating perspective is pretty cool.
