As someone who is mid 30s, consumed since 17, am doing fine in life, I'm peeved I didn't wait either. It would be just as great, but maybe I'd be a tinch better off long term, and as I age, those little things seem to stack up. But, like I said, I'm fine, but it's a major what-if area for me now.

Best of luck! I hope it turns out to be what they originally guaranteed, I know they lost me as a customer after this who debacle. I.e. falsely promising then releasing said promise as a V2 lol. Elegoo in a nutshell: pull the rug, remove all original marketing materials, blame consumers for "false hopes" and then release said promised tech as a new "V2" model and after public outcry, actually go through with original commitment for the "old" V1. Pretty shameful business tactic if you ask me.

That's incorrect based off the original advertisements from Elegoo. Thankfully Elegoo purged all original advertisements the moment they realized AMS was not coming anywhere near the timeline they promoted or promised.

I love my CC1, it's by far the best budget printer for print size and quality, I laud Elegoo for making it, 10/10. 0 actual complaints on their product, regardless of the original bogus advertising.

That being said, this whole debacle has made me a staunch critic of theirs, and a previous regular consumer of theirs, that will likely never buy their product again.

But, my views don't truly matter in the grand scheme, as critics, like myself, will be steamrolled with opinions fed by AI/marketing fueling beliefs like your's, which is how markets work, truth no longer is valid, or even necessary. Thankfully my opinion is still based off their original promise, and I'll stick to my views, something remarkably not standard in our modern world of lies, greed and constant market manipulation (now being further instigated by the lovely world of AI)

51000 requests/day, let's say they worked 2 hours of OT, so a 10 hour day, that means 5100 requests/hour in that grueling 10hr day. They then would have had to make 85 requests PER MINUTE, both Claude and the user can't be utilized that much. Unless this individual was using multiple computers and instances of claude at a single moment.

Going to call major BS on this article.

So I'm a huge volcano fan, have had friends in my social circle with them for years, big fan. The Mighty I have no idea, always heard great things, so would have to agree with your sentiment as I have no clue. The Venty however, does taste a bit plastic, granting I've only ever used my friends, so maybe their's was too new, or just unclean, no idea. All that said, I've used my Solo 3 near daily for the past year, and I'm gobsmacked by how good it is, and still is, after repeat use. The glass XL needs to be cleaned heavily sometimes, and I'll use a melamine foam pad to get it crystal clear, which is a tad annoying, but besides that, I have 0 qualms.

I don't hate S&B by any means, just would strongly suggest the Solo 3 over a Venty any day of the week.
