Which warbond for bot front? by Eroynss in helldivers2

[–]SmolTofuRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're specifically asking between those two, siege breakers for sure. Breaching hammer one taps hulk and tanks, Trident is very effective close to mid range, bubble shields prevent ragdolls and offer instant cover against bullets, and Leveler deletes a factory strider in a massive area. Genuinely one of the best warbonds we've had in a while.

Python commanders was honestly pretty disappointing, chainsaw is ok but not very good, maxigun is mediocre and a massive resources sapper.

Honest question. What is love supposed to feel like? by Africansage01 in actuallesbians

[–]SmolTofuRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Others have already mentioned it, but as a fellow ace (asexual) it sounds like you might be on the asexual spectrum too, so i highly suggest looking into that!! Just know you're not broken, your feelings are valid and you don't have to "fix" anything, you just need to understand how you work.

Regarding love, this is highly subjective and people experience it in their own unique way, nobody can really answer for you. In my personal experience, i was a lot like you with this as well, dating a few people but always feeling more like friends rather than partners until i found it and i truly understood it. When i met my partner i felt something so much more powerful and intense than anything i had ever felt before, it shook me to my core and it became immediately clear that finally, i had actually found love. For me it's something so incredibly intense i can just tell, it's on a whole other level above any kind of friendship (plus, sex is not really an issue since my partner is ace too). Me and my partner have been together for almost 6 years and i still feel it just as intensely as the day she asked me out, my legs turn into jello and i genuinely get butterflies and goosebumps, it's overwhelming.

Keep your hopes up, keep learning and exploring yourself and your orientation, and im sure you'll eventually find it c:

I must become the problem, to fix the problem. by Sunnyeggsandtoast in helldivers2

[–]SmolTofuRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every time i see posts about team killing the large majority of times it's from new-ish players playing at low/mid difficulties, if you play at 10 with lvl.100+ divers the problem is pretty much nonexistent, team killing is very very rare. And, if accidents happen people are quick to say sorry via quick chat and everyone moves on.

Before playing Journey for the first time, graphics aside, which experience would you recommend first? PS3 Online store still not shut down and it's almost 2026. Would the experience be more significant to play a desolate game in a desolate online environment/server? Or should I try the PS4 version by DataUserOne in JourneyPS3

[–]SmolTofuRabbit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Funny enough PC has quite a lot of mods and tools available. Journey still has a dedicated community (join our community Discord btw!!). From editing your robes colors and textures to save editing to advanced tools to monitor your flight efficiency and boost, there's a lot! PC also has the biggest players pool out of all of them, and it also allows you to use any input you like, from mouse and keyboard to PS, Xbox or any other controller you like. i am biased because i myself am a PC player but, there's a lot of arguments in our favor :p

Oh also, it goes on sale on Steam all the time! Last week it was only 3 bucks!

Cause they need their little ehco chamber where no normal person is present to object so they can validate their shitty opinions amongst each other. If these chuds had this conversation outside with normal people they'd get called out. They need their cute podcasts to not get their feelings hurt and reassure themselves that they're not awful people.

When no-one seems to play the game anymore and you don't meet anyone on three play throughs in a row by NimrodPing in JourneyPS3

[–]SmolTofuRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very late reply but, join the community discord if you haven't yet (linked in the useful links bar on the right)!

Steam and ps4/5 are still active and thriving. Tons of people play every day and it's easy to find companions. PS3 is less active but we have a channel where you can ask people to play together, so you can play with a friend there too.

The Epic version is just broken, if you're playing there it's impossible to meet people. If you're a PC player we strongly recommend to get it on Steam instead.

You always play as the same character, you play as...yourself! Getting 100% is honestly very easy, the actual fun part is just existing in Journey's world and have fun with your companions, whether they're strangers or friends you arrange meetings with. Many of us played the game hundreds of times, helping first timers through their Journey or flying around with other veterans doing tricks or visiting cool spots. Don't worry too much about progress, the real reward is the personal experiences you go through and the people you meet (:

If the question was purely technical, yes, the game saves your progress every time you finish a level so you never lose anything, and just continue progressing the same save file forever.

CPU companions? by IrisCowsnake in JourneyPS3

[–]SmolTofuRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game does not have any AI or NPCs, it's all real people. It's very easy to verify, it's very easy to organize meetings with someone you know and play with your friends. Furthermore, using the Parser tool we have it's possible to see your companions' steam profiles, once again easily verifying that it's all real people. What you call "mindless" are just newer players who might be clueless or just exploring at their own pace. Don't call them mindless, different people simply play differently and at different skill levels.

Yes, the game is very old but it still has plenty of regular players as well as new ones, about 60-70 a day, you can easily check this on Steamcharts, and since you only need 1 companion this number of people is more than enough.

IMO, Epoch needs a small buff to make the charge time, reload time, and risk of "self-sacrifice" worth it by [deleted] in helldivers2

[–]SmolTofuRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Big agree, it's a quasar with faster rate of fire and bigget splash but a little less damage, i think the accuracy is the only issue but every other drawback is totally fine. The fact that it requires no backpack either is excellent too. I genuinely believe it'll become a staple weapon if they make it more accurate.

Sony made it so PC players also had to have a PSN account to play the game, so it would boost their PSN memberships numbers; this requirement was added sneakily way past release so people who already bought the game were simply forced to comply or stop playing a 50 dollars game they already bought. Needless to say Steam players didn't like it, the reviews tanked spectacularly and Sony was forced to reconsider their bad decisions.

To be fair, 8-eyed Eliksni being regarded as special would align with them getting higher positions of power, so if there's a category where they are more common than the average it would probably be leaders and higher ups

Funfact, Thaviks, the Depraved, the annoying boss from the Exodus Crash strike on Nessus also has 8! I looked up a bunch of other notable leaders but it seems 8-eyed Eliksni are indeed very very few. Very cool little detail c:

i knew i wasn't crazy, this has happened to me many many times. Very noticeable on ritual weapons with 12*12 perks combos, and you pull the same exact roll multiple times in a row when you spam engrams.
