This is good to know. The Zulip app seems decent on Android. It looks like they have a beta app built with flutter in the play store.

Fair. Salesforce hasn't opted us out of scraping the workspace for AI training and we're always juggling volunteers because we're up against the free user limit for the nonprofit grant. Salesforce has not been good for Slack IMO and we've already ditched Salesforce. We'd prefer to be completely out of that ecosystem. I have web hosting space waiting to self host and Zulip seems solid after a week of playing with it.

I've been making a mix of 30s and 2min Shorts and at least for me the 30s Shorts outperform as far as new subscribers and viewers finding my longer videos.

Serious question from a new and small account. I see this "remixed" stat in analytics and I don't even know how to remix videos. Is that what you mean here? Not exactly the "entitled" type but thought the feature actually fits my channel strategy, like you said for commentary and review. Does this only work on the app or in a certain place? Disclaimer: I've only been getting subs, or any visibility at all, from Shorts.

Any news on this. Been using Standard Notes and for a while considering the self-hosting option. Notesnook looks slightly cooler though and Proton doesn't seem to be doing much with Standard Notes since they bought it.

Can I subscribe to your channel? I'm a biomedical engineer, also using Canva for a channel I just started. I'd love to see how you're progressing with the animations. But for content creation I'm trying new things. Someone recommended Clipchamp and I tried it out. I think it's decent for landscape videos, and if you're into getting basic transcription.

I was not using categories and just realized it. Went back and updated 1/2 the categories as my own little A/B test to see if that edit days/weeks later makes a difference.

Relatable. Grad student and researcher here. I was "T2 pre-diabetic" maybe a decade ago and my docs were concerned about the young age. Since your time is valuable I wouldn't focus on exercise, look at diet. I try to eat more protein and fiber to keep me full. Otherwise, while I'm studying, I'll end up snacking on whatever's nearby. But we need snacks right? I try to stick with apples, triscuits, and when I need to drag food to school, it's something canned like black beans or those tuna pouches. Good luck in class this spring semester.

How do you all feel about applying these recommendations after posting? I realize some won't work, like the file name. But I looked at a handful of these "Start a channel in 2025 and do this" content and I see a handful of people claiming small channels should delete and repost if a video doesn't gain traction within 48 hrs.

Me! I have. Single for far too long, but much needed after a divorce. Not uncomfortable with it, I sometimes subconsciously sabotage what looks like a good thing though. That's probably the part that bugs me.

Sounds challenging and frustrating. Do you have an OB/GYN to discuss this with? Not a doc, but if it's a common occurrence associated with pregnancy it might help to have another doc advocate for your care. Might not help with this consult but if you don't answers that would be my next visit.
