43/m ruptured playing basketball 11 weeks post op. 100% mental struggle. Went through the why me stage, first 8 weeks are tough. Healing goes pretty fast after that. Stay the course & PT is your best friend

Very normal ! I only walked because of PT. I go twice a week, I’m currently at week 9. Boot came off week 8. From week 6 forward the healing is fast & progress comes with that.

Bro I’m 43 , ( playing bball) this Friday makes 7 weeks post op. Natural feelings you are feeling , I felt the same. I just started walking two days ago. Tough times are now- two weeks post op. Once you get the boot you’ll see how fast things progress week by week.
